Happy employees are more productive than unhappy employees. That’s probably not news to you, but perhaps this insight will be: Our new national study clearly shows that employee rewards and recognition programs — essential to growing employee happiness — are not aligned with what makes employees happy and more productive.

A few of our other key findings are:

  • Only 17% of employees ranked “Job” as one of the top three factors that contribute to happiness
  • Only 42% are happy with the rewards and recognition their company offers
  • A majority of employees prefer receiving rewards in the form of prepaid cards
One of the most interesting insights is that a little goes a long way. Happiness doesn’t have to have an expensive price tag. Incentives work, and require little actual rewarding to positively change employee behavior. Download our ebook for more findings.
